On 5 and 6 November 2025<\/strong>, Barcelona will host a must-attend event for professionals in mediation, education, and conflict management: the workshop \u201cRestorative Practices: Learning by Doing Circles (Restorative Circles)\u201d<\/strong>, led by Jean Schmitz<\/strong>, an international reference in the field.<\/p>\n The event is organized by the Col\u00b7legi Oficial de Doctors i Llicenciats en Filosofia i Lletres i en Ci\u00e8ncies de Catalunya (CDL)<\/strong> and Logos Media<\/strong>, in collaboration with the Centre de Mediaci\u00f3 of the Department of Justice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Jean Schmitz<\/strong>, a Belgian based in South America since the 1980s, holds a Master\u2019s degree in Political Science and in Restorative Practices<\/strong> from the International Institute of Restorative Practices (IIRP)<\/em>. With more than 20 years of experience working with adolescents and families at risk, he is a well-known promoter of juvenile restorative justice in Peru<\/strong> and of restorative practices worldwide<\/strong>.
