Conflict mediator, private conciliator and lawyer
Throughout my more than 35 years of professional career, I have played key roles in various industrial SMEs with an international trading profile, working mainly in Spain, France, Poland, and Portugal, among other countries. My work has involved the constant application of legal, financial and accounting knowledge in a dynamic and competitive business environment.
During 15 years as CEO, I have led business strategy and management, facing complex situations and resolving all sorts of conflicts, which has allowed me to develop a comprehensive vision of the importance of negotiation and effective dispute resolution in the commercial and labour fields.
At the same time, I have more than 15 years of experience in the resolution of neighbourhood conflicts and in communities of owners, representing the Associació de Veïns i Veïnes de la Plaça de la Farga in Barcelona, integrated into the Federation of Neighbours (FV). In this context, I have intervened in the mediation of various community problems, contributing to the improvement of coexistence.
The Administration of Justice is essential to guarantee rights and resolve disputes, but not all conflicts require litigation. Mediation and other appropriate (or alternative) methods allow for agile, confidential and consensual solutions, avoiding the uncertainty and weariness of a judicial process. However, procedural lawyers and the courts remain essential to guarantee the effective protection of rights when litigation is the best option. Every conflict has its ideal path to resolution; The key is to choose the right method in each case.
I have worked with property managers and neighbourhood associations in the mediation of disputes of different profiles, always thinking about the importance of finding solutions that favour harmony and understanding. In communities of owners and neighbourhoods, where collective coexistence can generate tensions, mediation makes it possible to avoid lengthy legal proceedings, reducing emotional and economic costs, and fostering an environment of respect and cooperation, safeguarding future coexistence. Likewise, my experience also extends to mediation in family and personal conflicts, facilitating dialogue and the search for agreements to promote satisfactory solutions for all parties.
I advocate for an expanded and maximized use of mediation, both in the private and public spheres, with the aim of making our daily lives easier and significantly reducing the costs arising from disputes. Mediation is not only an effective tool for solving or redirecting incidents, but also the reflection of an advanced society that is committed to dialogue as the first option. In a world where litigation is growing and the courts are saturated, promoting mediation is a commitment to efficiency, good sense and justice accessible to all.
