A Successful and Promising Start of the School Year at La Salle Gràcia

This week we kicked off a new academic year of vocational training programs at La Salle Gràcia. The environment, marked by a welcoming spirit and neighborhood life, with Plaça del Nord and the Mestre Balcells Gardens as the backdrop, accompanies the start of a course that promises to be intense, innovative, and full of opportunities.

The students’ response has been excellent, with strong enrollment numbers confirming the growing interest in these studies. The young people training here today face particularly positive professional prospects. The aging of Spain’s active workforce suggests a future with high demand for young and qualified talent.

This academic year also comes with a key challenge and opportunity: how to manage teaching with artificial intelligence. AI is no longer just a tool, but also a subject of reflection and pedagogical adaptation that will shape the coming years.

On a personal note, it is deeply rewarding for me to experience this process from within while combining teaching with my other professional vocations: conflict mediation and law practice. All of these fields, in one way or another, share a common essence: listening, understanding, supporting, and building pathways for the future.
